Jewish hospital wins first green health facility label in Holland
Hospital Amstelland is first healthcare facility to receive Dutch govt’s Golden Environment Medal for reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
Jacques Moors, the chairman of the board of Hospital Amstelland in the Amsterdam suburb of Amstelveen, received the Dutch government’s Golden Environment Medal earlier this month for reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 15 percent in two years, the Dutch Israelite Religious Community, or NIK, announced on its website last week….
